We have several requests to help show these girls that if they choose STEM careers this community will support them. Here are some ways you can help make our STEM conference the best conference possible.

Seeking Female Mentors

1) Do you have any STEM women working for your company that would be willing to mentor, speak or present (or all three) at our conference which will be held June 4-7, 2019 here in Fort Smith? We would really like for our girls to get to know local women already working in these fields in order to create a female STEM support network in the area. Feel free to forward this email to them and we can meet, talk and answer any questions they may have. We would love to have them be role models for and inspire our girls.

2) We are planning a STEM Career Fair on Thursday, June 6 during and after lunch. We would love for your company to be represented to let the girls know what kind of STEM opportunities your company has to offer and to let the girls know your company values workers with STEM skills.

Do you have any STEM women working for your company that would be willing to mentor, speak or present (or all three)?

3) Fort Smith School District is helping us with funding the educational activities, food and facilities but we would also like to include Swag bags and t-shirts for the girls. Would you be willing to sponsor our conference with any swag or a monetary donation? All sponsors will be recognized on the t-shirt and notebooks as well as at the event itself. You may certainly send appropriate swag with your company logo.

If you would like to gift in any other way just let us know. This conference will be an annual event and we are planning to increase the numbers of girls each year, so your company will be investing in the future STEM women in the area for years to come.
